Circuit-Boy began as a project for MEN magazine. I was asked by the editors to put together a comic strip. So I did. This is the original strip I created. Unlike so many other comic strips that are in the magazines, I wanted this one to have a story line, something beyond 8 panels with 6 separate sex scenes. I wanted it to be funny and there seemed to be no problem there. I find it fuckin hilarious, disrespectful, naughty.

UNFORTUNATELY,

the editors did not think so. Actually they liked it but they wanted more sex.

Hmmm. Okay.

Then they wanted it to be a half page.

Hmmm, not okay.

I decided that Circuit-Boy was mine and I didn't want it to be twisted into something it wasn't meant to be. So ultimately, I'm glad they rejected it. I like him just the way he is.
